Sad to report the recent death of Pete Eva. He was a leading light within the Exiles CC borne out by his great collection of photographs displayed both on his own web page and the Exiles web page on this website. He was taken seriously ill with shingles immediately after attending the Exiles Meet at the George Hotel in Lower Brailes in August 2011. Following many months of treatment for this he then developed a serious problem with his lungs and breathing ability. When Jack Garry last spoke to him in late September of this year, he was on oxygen to assist his breathing. He was a very popular friend to all his mates. The funeral took place on October 17th 2012.
