- Jack Garry has passed on the sad news that Eric Todd has passed away in hospital on the morning of May 5th 2015. He served in the Kasfareet Station Orderly Room from June 23 1953 to December 19th 1955, rather much the same period as myself and for a time worked with my mate Manny Cachia. In later years Eric with his wife Audrey, visited Manny`s relatives in Malta. Manny had passed away some years prior to this visit. Eric became a friend of Joe Shortland and subsequently made a member of the 107 MU Association and contributed to the Kasfareet Kronicles. Eric first contacted me some eight years ago and has always kept in touch. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Audrey and her family.

The following two photographs highlight Eric`s protest at our 1951 - 1954 conflict not being mentioned on the board at the Hartlepool Maritime Experience event at the local Marina. He says " I was talking to some WW2 veterans about it and they suggested I let it be known on the tent wall. They were actually disgusted that we were having difficulty getting official recognition.
