17th Oct 2014...A new email from Neville reveals a few more snippets from Bert Hughes. He stayed in a wooden billet but cannot remember a number and not in a tented encampment. He was at RAF Kasfareet from 17th Sept 1949 until 19th March 1951 and names he remembers are Stan Smith, Cpl Pressy and F/Lt Dunn. Cpl Pressey is mentioned in the 1951 Winter issue of the Mirage newsletter in the article of the activities of the 107MU Yacht Club ( see bottom of KASFILES PAGE ).Bert also worked in the general workshops.
